Modern Pharmacy

It was our first time that someone entrusted us with a project like that, so our excitement was enormous. Our biggest challenge was to find out how the interior was going to communicate with the exterior. Making our self-criticism for other times when we managed commercial facades, we realized that we should respect the building itself. On the other hand, the client always wants his store to stand out. We started designing the interiors functions, always keeping in mind our challenge. We had an idea that fitted the situation. Our space had two large openings. The main disadvantages of that were 2. The Greek sun and the hit enter directly in the interior. We designed two metal constructions that solved these problems while they constituted the concept of our main challenge. These constructions flew through the openings in such a way to bring the inside out without damaging the exterior. The design is so impressive that, thanks to this, the store stands out. The big tiles, which look like marble, create a pattern inside the pharmacy. The reception follows this pattern and looks like it emerges from the floor. Back of the reception, there is the drug store, the “heart of the pharmacy”, dressed in whites. All the other products are exposed in black metal cases we polyhedral design. In the center our main front of the high-quality products. We use three main materials: Metal painted black, Plywood and tiles. The secondary materials are glass, mirror and lacquer paint on MDF.
